A Dialogue between our founders, Josh and Jacky.

Hey there, friends! It’s Josh and Jacky here, ready to share some of our personal experiences and the incredible lessons we’ve learned about overcoming challenges and embracing change. We know how tough it can be to navigate life’s ups and downs, but these moments are where real growth happens. So, grab your favorite drink, get comfy, and let’s chat.

The Power of Positive Self-Talk

Josh: One of the biggest game-changers for us has been the power of positive self-talk. I remember when I stumbled upon Shad Helmstetter’s book, “What to Say When You Talk to Yourself.” Growing up in a duplex with my hardworking parents, I often felt overwhelmed by expectations and the fear of failure. This book showed me that the way we talk to ourselves shapes our reality.

Jacky: Totally, Josh. I remember when we were just starting out with our business. The future seemed so uncertain, and it was easy to get discouraged. Every morning, I’d look in the mirror and say things like, “I am capable,” “I am strong,” and “I can handle any challenge.” These simple affirmations really helped change my mindset and gave me the confidence to push forward.

Setting Your Mind on Success

Josh: Another book that’s been huge for us is Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich.” Hill talks a lot about having a clear purpose and a burning desire to achieve it. When we were developing our first business idea, we had no roadmap, just a vision and a lot of determination. Hill’s ideas reminded us that every setback was just a stepping stone towards our goals.

Jacky: Yes, and one of the most powerful lessons from Hill is the idea of autosuggestion – basically, feeding your mind with positive thoughts and goals. We made vision boards, wrote down our dreams, and visualized our success every day. It kept us focused and motivated, even when things got tough.

The Art of Persistence

Josh: Og Mandino’s “The Greatest Salesman in the World” also taught us a lot, especially about persistence. There was a time early on when we hit a major roadblock. We’d put all our savings into a project that just didn’t take off. It was a real low point.

Jacky: Oh, I remember that so well. We felt like we had hit rock bottom, but then we thought about Mandino’s idea of persistence, especially his line, “I will persist until I succeed.” We made that our mantra and refused to give up. We learned from our mistakes, adjusted our strategies, and kept going. Eventually, it paid off, and we started seeing success.

Embracing Change

Josh: Embracing change is super important. Change is going to happen whether we like it or not, but how we respond makes all the difference. When the pandemic hit, we had to totally rethink our business model. It was scary, but we saw it as a chance to innovate and grow.

Jacky: Exactly. We moved to digital platforms, explored new markets, and diversified our services. It was a steep learning curve, but it opened up new opportunities we hadn’t considered before. Embracing change means being flexible and willing to step out of your comfort zone.

Our Final Thoughts

Josh: So, our advice to you? Start with the right mindset. Talk positively to yourself, set clear goals, persist through the tough times, and embrace change. These principles have helped us turn obstacles into opportunities.

Jacky: Remember, every challenge is a chance to grow and learn. Stay inspired, stay motivated, and know that you can overcome anything. We’re cheering you on every step of the way!

Josh: Until next time, keep dreaming big and moving forward.

Jacky: You’ve got this!
